WiMax Butuh Dua Tahun Untuk Booming

Pengadopsian jaringan WiMax di Indonesia diperkirakan baru akan booming butuh dua tahun setelah frekuensi 2,3 GHz ditenderkan. WiMax bisa lebih murah dengan biaya seperempat atau sepersepuluh seluler 3G. WiMax juga dapat lebih cepat dibanding akses 3G, tapi WiMax belum dapat sehandal 3G atau HSDPA.
WiMax Needs Two Years for Booming
The adopted of WiMax network in Indonesia is estimated need two years after 2.3 GHz frequency is tendered. WiMax can be cheaper a quarter or a tenth of 3G cellular. Telkomsel Kembangkan Bisnis Baru

PT Telkomsel mematangkan strategi untuk memasuki bisnis baru di luar layanan dasar di tengah kesiapan menghadapi kompetisi dan melanjutkan pertumbuhan usaha. Strategi itu ditunjang langkah migrasi teknologi dari basis transpor TDM/E-1 ke protokol internet (IP). Sementara migrasi dari sisi aplikasi tidak lagi sekadar aplikasi suara atau SMS tetapi menuju ke platform layanan terbuka. Dalam rencana pengembangan teknologi, operator ini berencana mengimplementasikan long term evolution (LTE). Adapun bisnis WiMax akan menjadi bagian yang digelar PT Telkom.

Telkomsel is Developing a New Business
PT Telkomsel is strengthening the strategy to enter the new business aside from basic service to face the competition and continuous the effort growth. That strategy is supported by the migration of technology from basic transpor TDM/E-1 to protocol internet (IP). In the other side, migration from the application side not only as a voice application or SMS but start into the open platform service. In the plan of technology development, this operator is planned to implement long term evolution (LTE). As for the business WiMax will become the part that is spread out by PT Telkom.
